These are some custom node moderation "starterpacks" that may be useful to new and existing feed builders who who graze.social for building custom feeds.
The custom nodes can be added to your own feed--enable automatic updates to receive up to date additions to your feeds! It's a pretty simple process. Old versions of these starterpacks are still listed for now--these were full custom feeds with the logic. The new custom nodes can receive updates (or not, you can disable!) and are more easily integrated so they're the preferred method now.
Please note: you need to be signed into graze to view the custom nodes.
1. NEW: Moderation Starterpack Custom Node (OLD: Moderation Starterpack feed) -- general moderation of folks and content we want to avoid: racism, bigotry, misogynoir, transphobia, sexism, misogyny, ableism, MAGA, bots, trolls, crypto scams & crypto bros, etc. An option to block posts with embedded links to X/Twitter, because fascism bad.
2. NEW: Moderation Staterpack: NSFW Custom Node (OLD: Moderation Starterpack NSFW feed) -- Not all feeds want to filter out NSFW content so this gets its own pack. This pack targets the contents of a post, not individual posters and does not rely on user lists. It's unfair to wholly exclude people from feeds because they post NSFW content.
3. NEW: Moderation Starterpack: Remove Bridged Users Custom Node (OLD Moderation Starterpack: Remove Bridged Users) -- In my experience, posts from bridged accounts offer little community interaction and while their posts sometimes have value, these users rarely reply or strengthen a community. This is not important for all feeds. If you prefer the content in your feed coming from inhouse, this pack is for you.
4. Require Alt-Text -- This custom node can remove posts without Alt-Text on images and/or videos. A threshold can be set to require longer descriptions, removing simple descriptions like "me" and other low-effort alt-text descriptions if desired.
5. Website Blocker -- Mass block several websites, including domain varients (e.g. x.com, twitter.com, t.co, etc). Blocks can be applied per website. Sites include amazon, twitter, facebook, nsfw sites, and more!
